Gospel Night (Traditional and Contemporary)

Description

The Appalachian Auditorium at St James is hosting its first Gospel Night concert! Lonesome Pine Bluegrass Band will perform traditional gospel songs like “I’ll Fly Away”, “I Saw the Light” and “Life’s Railway to Heaven”.  Madison Metcalf will bring her own brand of contemporary Christian music. This is a really special night sponsored by RotoRooter as part of our “Nonprofits Helping Nonprofits” program as we help Celebrate Recovery continue to change lives. Tickets are $15 advance ($20 door) online or call 423-312-4392. A chili and baked potato bar dinner starts at 5 pm for $12 cash at the door. Doors open at 6 pm (general admission) and the show starts at 7:00. Please call 423-329-4453 to reserve a meal.

How to find us: From Greeneville, go 321 toward Newport. Cross the Nolichuckey River and turn left onto St. James Rd. Go about 3 1/2 miles and you will see us on the right. This is the old St. James School auditorium, built in 1936. Wooden seats – feel free to bring a pillow 🙂
