Claim Your Listing
Sometimes, you might find that your business or organization is already listed in the directory. If so, you can use the following steps to claim the directory listing so that your account can maintain its content.
Process of Claiming A Listing
Step 1: Login To Your Account
You need to login to your account so that when you attempt to claim the listing, it will be associated with the correct account. If you do not have one, then create a free account.
Step 2: Find the Specific Directory Listings
You may want to check if you have multiple listings for the same organization in the directory. You can find them using a few different methods:
Warning: Check for variations of your organization’s name in the directory. If you find a duplicate, please report the duplicate listing, and we will remove it.
- Search: Use the search bar located on the directory landing page.
- Index: Browse the directory by name in alphabetical order. This is the most reliable way to find the name of your listing.
- Browse: You can browse the directory by category. However, we do not recommend this as the listing could be miscategorized or have very few categories associated with it. This method is time-consuming.
Step 3: Claim The Listing
Once you have found your listing, click on the link that says “Claim Listing”.
This link will take you to a new page to verify you have permission to claim the listing. Click the red button to confirm that you want to claim the listing. The listing should be transferred to your account instantly. You should be redirected to your account My Directory landing page where you manage your listings.
